Is it Legal to Copy Wii Games?

Many people who own a Ninetendo Wii are curious to know how to copy Wii games. Once that is covered, the next question is “It is legal to copy to games?” The short answer is an unequivocal “Yes!” It is perfectly legal to back up Nintendo Wii video games. However, the long answer is a bit more complicated, and we will address that next.

What does the fair use act say?

There has been much debate over the years, but the current answer is found in the Fair Use Act, which in a nutshell, states that you can copy, burn, backup, or whatever you want to call it, if you are the owner of the original disc. This includes games, music, movies, and any other media. In fact, it is recommended that users copy games as soon as possible after purchase. Doing this ensures that a backup exists in the event the original is lost, damaged or stolen. Furthermore, the copy can be used regularly, while storing the original for safe keeping. Bottom line: there is no legal recourse for copying games. The U.S. Government is not going to come knocking on your door, or fine you zillions of dollars.

So it’s legal. But if you learn how to copy wii games, are there any risks?

There is, however, an issue to address if you want to learn how to copy Wii games. You will require the use of an application software program that will remove any copyright protections. The manufacturers place these restrictions on their games, in an attempt to keep you from copying your games and selling or giving them to all your friends. They can’t stop you, but they can make it difficult. The protections themselves are perfectly legal, but removing them is equally as legal. So to help all those users out there who don’t want to ruin their originals, software companies have created programs that can do this relatively quickly and easily.

If you have a game console then you may be thinking of how you can sell it. Because then maybe the money that you make from the sale could be used to buy something else. If you do have an old games console then the chances are that you also have accessories and old games to sell as well. You never know, you could end up with a large amount of cash when the deal is complete provided of course that you go about this is the right way. And I would never suggest this, but you could even learn how to copy wii games, and then sell your originals! Here are a few tips to help you sell your old game console.

- The first order of business is for you to do a bit of research first of all. You can do all of this online by just searching for other people who are selling a similar game console to what you intend to sell. Getting an idea about how much others are selling for is a good plan. You will also be able to find out how much you might be able to fetch for the accessories and games you have to sell.

- You need to decide if you want to sell the game console, games, and accessories as a package or as individual items. If you sell them as a package you will likely get a lot less money but you will probably find it easier to sell everything together. If you try to sell everything individually then it will likely take a long time but you could end up with a lot more money.

- You may be thinking that eBay is the best place to sell and it is a good choice although there are other options that you may want to consider first.

- Before trying to sell it online, you could advertise locally by sticking up posters around your local area; although you need to make sure you are permitted to do this first. You can print these posters up cheaply and contain some tear-off contact details. Just put an email address if you are not inclined to give out your mobile number.

Call of Duty 3 for the Nintendo Wii is the most recent addition to popular game series “Call of Duty”. This series has also been released for other game systems such as Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game sends the player back in time to 1944, World War II during the Normandy Breakout.

Running the Nazis out of France (to liberate Paris) is the goal of Call of Duty 3. You can still play the Allies, joining forces with the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Poland. Call of Duty 3 is one of the most popular searches for “how to copy Wii games”, and rightfully so. Everyone, even on a budget, wants to have access to this great action game.

At the beginning of the game, there is a very short training session that you can use to learn to thrown grenades and other weapons, as well as to generally move about. Following the training mission, there will be a loud bang, which signals an opening to the actual game. As you learn the controls, you will witness much death and destruction.

Your actions onscreen are determined by the Nunchuk, while the Wiimote guides your field of vision and aim. You can fire weapons with the B-button, although this method is not particular accurate. If you hold the A-button, this positions the gun directly to eye level, then you can use the gun’s sight mechanism to aim and fire more accurately.

Call of Duty 3 for the Ninetendo Wii makes much use of the Wiimote and the Nunchuk – each emulates soldier-like movements, and are used for planting bombs as well. If you wish to bury a bomb and flee, you can use the Nunchuk to do this by twisting the bomb’s fuse through a series of rotations, followed by a movement which pulls the Wiimote back and arms the bomb.

There are also some areas in the Call of Duty 3 game that require you to drive a jeep and follow along checkpoints, all while trying to flee and/or rescue hostages. The Wiimote and Nunchuk are held level to each other as a means of steering the jeep.

The default setting of Call of Duty 3 is not terribly difficult – from beginning to end, you can estimate 8-10 hours of consistent game play. If you are a long-time player of the series, however, you may wish to increase the level of difficulty by adjusting the settings in the menu. You will find that enemies are more aggressive and their shots are more accurate on the more difficult level. You will also find that the player’s health decreases at a faster rate. For those users who know how to copy Wii games, Call of Duty 3 is a must have for all.

One of the most popular and powerful game consoles is the Nintendo Wii, as most know. However, it is also one of the most original and innovative. Orignally known by the codename “Revolution”, the Wii console was developed in Japan and was finally released to the public near the end of 2006 in North America. There were hope that it would compete with the Sony Playstation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox, which had become the most popular and accessible game systems on the market. Nintendo knew it would be a tough battle for supremacy, so therefore decided to try implementing additional features that the other game systems were not currently capable of. The following is a guide to these features with a brief description of each.

Parental Controls – While the other game consoles included a parent password/locking system to disallow unauthorized access to the console without permission, the Nintendo Wii took it one step farther. The parental controls on the Wii reads the rating content information encoded on the game to be played. If a game’s rating exceeds the age level that is set on the console, the game will not load unless a password is entered. As with any parental control system, the basic need stems from the availability of sexual and violent content in many video games on today’s market. While some games are mostly geared toward older adolescents and adults, children may want to play them as well. Controls like these provide a way to keep that from happening. This is especially handy when your child knows how to download Wii games – they may still get their hands on a wealth of undesirable games, but they will only be able to play the ones you allow on your system.

Channel Accessibity – Channels on the Wii system are similar in format to channels on a TV, but with major differences. Each channel provides a different set of functions that can be used in addition to just gameplay. The Wiimote is used to navigate and control the channel menu. Wii channels include Disc (gameplay), Internet, Mii (personalization), Photo (images), News (updates), Virtual Console, Forecast (weather), and Wii Shop (games and point purchases).

Wireless Connectivity – The Wii system uses wireless connectivity that works throught he use of the Nintendo DS. This connect allows users to play Wii games by utilizing functions (such as touchscreen and microphone) of the DS. In this way, the DS is used as a controller.

Backward Compatibility – Software designed to work with the Nintendo Gamecube and other gamesystems can also be used on the Wii – even peripherals. However, despite this backward compatibility, not all previous functions are available, including some of the Gamecube tools (AC adaptor, modem, cable, etc.) Do not attempt to use these tools with the Wii. However, if you know how to copy Wii games, you may find it more and more unnecessary to play you old gamecube games, anyway.
